Saturday’s Chuck-Wagon Cookout Ride

On Saturdays, we head out for our popular Chuck Wagon ride. Starting at the ranch, guests ride along one of our many trails, and descend on our chuck wagon area for a barbecue lunch prepared over an open fire by our wranglers. Ribs, chicken, beans, fresh salads and quesadillas are all prepared to perfection. For kids in the group, we have the ever popular piñata!

During the warmer days of fall and spring, and on major holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving, we offer a breakfast ride to the Chuck Wagon Site. Bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, and Danishes round out your meal.

After everyone has eaten their fill, guests have the option to either take the long way home or the 45 minute direct route back to the ranch. Some guests like to have a little extra time on Saturday afternoon to relax by the pool, head into town for some shopping, or tour one of the many local vineyards.
