at Circle Z Ranch
Fun for the Whole Family
There is always something to do at the Circle Z!
In addition to our horseback riding adventures, there are a variety of activities at the Circle Z. There are campfire nights with s’mores, nightly social hour, weekly calf roping demonstrations, and plenty of outdoor space for enjoying those Arizona blues skies and legendary sunsets. Not to mention the nearby towns that offer shopping, wine tastings, cavern exploring, and historic tours. There is always something to do at the Circle Z, no matter your interests!
Campfire Night
On Wednesday evenings we bring out the s’mores, tune up the guitars, and light up the night with our campfire. Join wrangler Johnny out on the front lawn for this evening to remember!
Cantina Cocktail Hour
Each evening before dinner, the stories are shared, friendships made, and the camaraderie from the day on the trails continues at our BYOB cantina social hour. We provide the appetizers, you bring you sense of spirit.
For Kids
How often do we long for the days of giving our children the gift of nature, in a safe and healthy environment, where the electronics are shelved and our kids are happy and laughing, making new friends and experiencing new adventures.
Roping Demonstrations
Our Bar Z Ranch provides the perfect setting for our weekly roping demonstrations, showing off part of cowboy culture to our guests! Our expert calf ropers will wow you with their skill and horse finesse each Saturday. Don’t miss the fun!
Photography
With the horses, the amazing unspoiled vistas, there is so much opportunity for excellent photography. Whether you are a professional or amateur, you can have fun capturing the charm of the ranch!

The Spirited Cowgirl
Even ranch life leaves a little room for shopping! Our friend Annette brings her Spirited Cowgirl boutique to us for a fun afternoon of personalized Western-inspired shopping. With an eye for beautiful jewelry, clothing and accessories that capture the spirit of the West, Annette always brings something special to discover. Come in from the trail, grab a drink and browse awhile—you just might find the perfect piece you've been looking for.
Yoga Classes
After a day in the saddle, a little stretching can go a long way. Our guided yoga session, led by a certified yoga instructor, is designed especially with horseback riders in mind. Gentle stretching and strengthening movements help loosen tired muscles, restore flexibility and leave you feeling ready for another day on the trail. It’s a relaxing way to wind down after an active day exploring Circle Z on horseback.
Horseshoe Decorating
Tap into your creative side with Heather and turn a piece of ranch life into a keepsake of your own. A favorite among Circle Z guests, horseshoe decorating is a relaxed afternoon of colorful yarns, Western stones and plenty of inspiration. Heather brings all the supplies to help you make a one-of-a-kind piece of art to take home and remember your time at the ranch.
Details & Policies
- Starting in the 28-29 season, we will be switching to a 6 day week.
- All Posted Rates are Per Person
- Posted Rates Include Tax and Service Charge
- The ranch has a 275 pound weight limit for guests.
- Check-in time is 4-6 p.m. and check-out time is 9 a.m. for week long stays. For Sunday to Thursday stay check out is 2 pm
- Sunday to Thursday stay includes Thursdays morning ride and lunch with a 2 pm checkout time
- We are not able to provide transportation to and from the Tucson airport. The airport has all major rental car agencies. Please call the ranch if you would like a list of local drivers.
- Large families or groups, please contact the office for rates
- We require a 25% deposit per person when booking your reservation.
- We ask for full payment 60 days prior to arrival
- We have a 90 day cancellation policy. Cancellations 90 days before arrival will be refunded less 5% if deposit was made on a credit card or paypal. For cancellations made within 90 days of arrival no portion of your payment is refundable
- We strongly encourage the purchase of travel insurance to protect all of our interests. We can no longer hold over deposits and payments for cancellations outside our policy period. Travel Guard is the preferred provider for the Dude Ranchers Association and you can find a link on their website at www.duderanch.org
